1. Reduce Quality 100%

5–100% output quality. Resolution stays unchanged; lower values reduce detail/file size through the selected engine before final encoding.

2. Enhance 240%

100–400%. Strength is applied by the selected enhancement engine while preserving image geometry.

Pica 10.0.3 is the default Enhance engine. Extra open-source alternatives are now available, including Local Unsharp Plus and Local Clarity for offline CPU-only sharpening. If the Pica CDN is unavailable or initialization fails, processing stops and no fallback result is generated. Geometry remains unchanged and source-relative brightness/chroma is restored.

3. Re-Scale 1×

Below 1× downscales the image; above 1× upscales it. Large upscale multipliers may require substantial memory.

Advantage: fast fully offline resizing in both downscale and upscale directions with broad browser compatibility and no external dependency.

Output format

Encode quality 92%

Encode quality applies to JPEG/WebP. PNG remains lossless.

Compress image file size

Keeps resolution and format unchanged. PNG uses lossless optimization; JPG/WebP use a perceptual-lossless PSNR safety gate. File size is not capped; processing is limited only by the 12,000 × 12,000 px browser-safe canvas boundary.
